On March 20, Fayetteville Tech and the Carolina Cyber Network co-hosted the National Cyber Director, Harry Coker, Jr. at a day-long cyber event that included a roundtable discussion with presidents from the CCN member schools, a cyber career fair, and a listening session with veterans, transitioning military, and military-connected spouses who are pursuing careers in cyber. The event showcased the work happening in North Carolina to strengthen the state’s cyber ecosystem and spotlighted best practices building the nation’s cyber workforce.

“The partnership between Fayetteville Technical Community College, as part of the Carolina Cyber Network, serves as a beacon — creating a robust ecosystem that helps expand opportunities for all students — and especially impressive is the support for military spouses and upskilling and reskilling of transitioning veterans in the cyber workforce here in North Carolina and across the country,” said Coker.
